You choose the destination
We take you to the hospital that you, your family or your doctor choose, in Tegucigalpa or other cities, and we coordinate your admission. If your life is at immediate risk, we go to the nearest one that can treat your case.

The team your case needs
There are always at least two professionals (paramedics or a licensed nurse) and, depending on the case, a doctor or specialist. Critical or ventilated patients always travel with a doctor.
A note on language: Our ambulance crew (nurses and paramedics) speaks Spanish only. If you can, have a Spanish speaker help you with the call, or use a translation app. Many of our doctors do speak English — use the “Speaks English” filter in the doctor directory.

When you're discharged from a hospital or after surgery, we take you home lying down or seated, with monitoring if you need it. If you can sit up, our stair chair gets you all the way to your room.

Which hospital will you take me to?
The one you choose, and we coordinate your admission with that hospital. If your life is at immediate risk, our crew takes you to the nearest hospital that can treat your case and explains why. We can also see you at our Urgent Care if your case can be treated there.
How long does the ambulance take to arrive?
In Tegucigalpa, about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the area and traffic.
Do you do transfers to other cities?
Yes. We take patients to other cities in Honduras and also pick them up there. Call the ambulance line, +504 2289-8787, to arrange it.
Do you do airport transfers?
Yes. We take or receive patients at Toncontín or Palmerola, for a commercial flight or to hand over to an air ambulance.
Can you do scheduled transfers outside opening hours?
Yes, by appointment: arrange them in advance through the ambulance line. In an emergency after hours, call 911.
Can a family member ride along?
Yes, one companion can ride with the patient. In critical cases, the crew decides where they sit so they can care for the patient.
How do I pay for a transfer?
Scheduled transfers are paid before the transfer. In an emergency, you pay on arrival or afterwards. We accept cash, card and bank transfer.

Depending on the case, a doctor or specialist also comes along; critical or ventilated patients always travel with a doctor. Our crew speaks Spanish only.

Yes, round trip: to appointments, tests or therapy, between hospitals, home when you're discharged from a hospital stay or after surgery, and transfers for older adults with limited mobility.
