- Bring your documentsYour ID (DNI, or passport if you're visiting) and, if you're insured, your digital or physical insurance card. For tests, your doctor's order: we accept orders from any doctor, even if you're using insurance.
- Arrive 15 minutes earlyPark in the Torre Mediplaza garage: its elevator goes straight to Floor N2. If you come in through the lobby, tell the tower reception you're going to GyV Medical. We'll register you and verify your coverage.
- Consultation and tests on the same floorYour results go into your medical record for your doctor.

Ambulance · advanced life support
You choose where we take you
An advanced life support ambulance, equipped as a mobile intensive care unit, with staff certified in BLS and ACLS (Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Every transfer has at least two professionals (paramedics or a licensed nurse) and, depending on the case, a doctor or specialist. We take you to the hospital you choose, in Tegucigalpa or other cities in Honduras.
- Arrives in 20 to 25 minutes in Tegucigalpa, depending on the area
- Oxygen and monitoring all the way
- If you can sit up, we take you down the stairs in a stair chair, without carrying you

Do I need an appointment for Urgent Care?
No. Urgent Care is walk-in, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you like, let us know on WhatsApp that you're on your way.
Do you accept my health insurance?
Yes. We see members of all insurers in Honduras. We have direct billing with 12: Ficohsa, Atlántida, Crefisa, MAPFRE, Pan-American Life, Davivienda, ASSA, Aseguradora Rural, Equidad, PSM, Seguros del País and Continental (several through MediProcesos). We also see members of Red Medicatel, who book through the Medicatel app, and BCIE staff, retirees and enrolled dependents under our agreement. Check what yours covers.

Yes. We treat you as a self-pay patient and give you the documents to claim reimbursement from your insurer.
Do you see patients without insurance?
Yes. We see all patients, with or without private insurance. We give you the price before your consultation or test.
Do your doctors speak English?
Many of them do. In the doctor directory, use the “Speaks English” filter to see who. Please note that our call center (phone and WhatsApp) and our ambulance crew (nurses and paramedics) speak Spanish only. For calls, consider having a Spanish speaker help you, or use a translation app.
Is there parking?
Yes. Torre Mediplaza has secure paid parking, and its elevator goes straight to Floor N2. If you're just dropping off the patient, there's a patient drop-off zone at the entrance. There's wheelchair access, and we can lend you a wheelchair at reception.
Can I see a general doctor or get lab tests at night or on the weekend?
Yes. General medicine, lab tests, nursing procedures and minor surgery are also available during Urgent Care hours: Monday to Friday until 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where are you located?
At Torre Mediplaza, Floor N2, Col. Tepeyac, Tegucigalpa. Consultations, lab, ultrasound and Urgent Care are all on the same floor.
Do you see children?
Yes. We have pediatrics, neonatology and pediatric subspecialties such as surgery and cardiology. At Urgent Care, a pediatrician is on call during opening hours.
